Kris Kuksi
Kris’s work came to me from a friend. You know one of those friends that you can talk to deep into the night. The work in some ways captures part of our unspoken pact that allows for conversation and exploration of wildest dreams and deepest fears. In his own words Kris decribes work as – “ a timelessness; potentiality and motion attempting to reach on forever, and yet pessimistically delayed; forced into the stillness of death and eternal sleep.” The work is a celebration and mourning of potential – simultaneously. We first became aware of Cristiano Siqueira while checking out the astounding DEPTHCORE. His vision and technique is just stunning. His specialty? Digital and vector illustration. We’ve reached out for an interview and are hoping to climb inside his head for a minute. We’re hoping he invites us to Brazil!
